Overview
Every day of the 3 Week project, you will need to post an update on how the project is going to the visual comm Facebook group. You will be held accountable for daily posting by submitting a screenshot and a link to your daily posts. Even though it is only required to post on the Visual Comm Facebook group, it is recommended to build your personal brand, and look for other opportunities to showcase your work through different platforms.
Instructions
This is a daily assignment which will be turned in to the same assignment 18 times. In other words, you will have 18 submissions to the same assignment. Before you submit you’ll need to:
- Work on the project that day
- Create visuals which describe what you worked on that day
- Visuals could be graphics, a video update, a video update with graphics, etc..
- Create a Facebook post and share the visual update to the Visual Comm Facebook group

- Download this Google Doc: 18 Day Project Daily Report and include:
- A screenshot of the shared Facebook Group post
- A URL of the shared Facebook post
- Save the doc and submit it to this assignment
- Repeat steps 1-5 every day of the 3 Week project
- There will be 18 submissions to the same assignment
- Keep the previous submissions within the document
3 Week Project Requirements
Overview
The objective of this project is to identify and improve your secondary skill identified at the beginning of the semester. This is an individual project and is different than the 18-days of something project. For this assignment, you will identify one visual communication project and work on it for 3 weeks. You will report on the progress of this project and finally put together a final portfolio piece to be submitted at the end of the allotted time. This will be graded on meeting the minimum expectations (see below) and the quality of the visual communication.
