What’s Due
Overview
This project is something you have probably never attempted. Make sure that you take this assignment seriously. Put everything you have into this preparation. Those that do not prepare properly during this Week 0 struggle tremendously the next three weeks.
For this assignment, you are going to prepare to start the 18-days of something project. You have one week to prepare as much as you can short of actually doing the final work. This means, at a minimum, you should sketch ideas for each of the 18 days. However, you will probably want to flesh out 36 – 54 different ideas instead of the minimum 18. To help you do this you will be provided a sketchbook and will be required to fill the whole thing with your sketches for this assignment. The sketches should be comprehensive and should really explore the ideas to ensure the highest quality possible.
If there are other things you can prepare, it is highly recommended. Finding mock-ups, creating captions, writing content, making scripts, storyboards are all examples of things you can do. The more you do this week, the easier 18 days you will have.
Instructions
Follow the instructions to build out your 18-Days of Something week 0.
- Sketch as many idea as you can
- Take photos of each page of your filled out sketchbook
- Create a document with that includes all the photos of your sketches
- Include anything else you’ve done to prepare (mock-ups, captions, written content, scripts, storyboards, etc.)
- Save the document as a PDF
- Submit the PDF to this assignment
